Noise Suppressing In-Ear Plugs Headset for Environments. Sensear, a global leader in developing and manufacturing best-in-class digital communication headsets, announced the release of their new smartPlug™, a solution for use in some of the world’s largest industries, where high noise and extreme environments are part of the everyday challenges to communications.

Among its features, an innovative ground-up design, includes 82dB noise limited in-ear and in-ear voice pick up microphone allowing the wearer to clearly pick up speech from the inner ear canal. The Sensear SP is the next generation of digital hearing protection, where workers can benefit from face-to-face communication capabilities as well as protecting their hearing at the same time. This is achieved through Sensears industry-leading SENS™ technology that enhances speech and suppresses background noise so users can communicate safely and effectively in noisy environments.

The new unit’s rugged design comes with a belt-clip for the users’ ease-of-wear, as well as dual inline push-to-talk (PTT) buttons allowing for easy triggering of the PTT and other communication functions. The new smartPlug™ includes disposable foam or silicone ear tip options for user comfort, and a rechargeable battery with 15 hours battery life, lowering the total cost of ownership compared to AA batteries, USB for programming allows simple configuration of the headset by a dealer, compatible for Bluetooth® and Short Range (SR) team communication from one headset to another, 82 dB(A) limited in-ear and in-ear voice pick up and NRR of 31 dB, as well the unit it’s Ideal for use with respirators.
